Sommelier

Jesus 'Chuy' Galvan, sommelier
Jesus 'Chuy' Galvan, sommelier
“Wine is a personal experience you can taste. It can take you to a place once traveled, and unlock a memory long forgotten.”

A Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers – the foremost authority on wine and food service in the world – Chuy has big aspirations. He is currently readying himself for the Advance Sommelier exam, with a long-term goal of becoming a Master Sommelier. A part of the George’s team for the better part of eight years, Chuy loves helping our guests discover new wines.

His excitement for wine extends to the staff, and he regularly exposes them to winemakers from across California and the world. By getting a glimpse into their lives and their passion for wine a greater connection is formed and that translates to a more memorable experience for everyone.
