Starting as a pastry assistant in 2005, Trang now oversees production of the seasonal dessert menus for California Modern and the Ocean Terrace, where she prides herself on selecting the best ingredients and reconstructing flavors in ways that are unique but familiar.

Ask Trang what she loves most about her job and she’ll tell you, “I enjoy the fact that I have a tremendous amount of creative freedom and a team that is very supportive of my work.”
