Champagne Pairing Dinner With Jason Knibb

Join us on Wednesday, June 28 for a special champagne pairing dinner at California Modern. Allie DeKock, brand ambassador for Moet & Chandon and Dom Perignon, and Chef Jason Knibb of Nine-Ten Restaurant and Bar will join forces with our own culinary director and partner, Trey Foshee, and Chef de Cuisine Jonathan Bautista. Together they'll prepare a four-course menu paired with six hand-selected champagnes.

The evening will begin with a champagne punch followed by pairings including Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut, Impérial Rosé, Vintage 2006, Vintage Rosé 2008 and Dom Pérignon Vintage 2004. Our chefs will prepare a special menu complimenting the featured champagnes. You'll also be able to meet and greet with the chefs and Allie DeKock to learn about the menu and the pairings. 

"Jason and Trey have been the top chefs in San Diego since my time in culinary school. I’ve always wanted to work with both. Since I’m already working for Trey now and have reached one of those goals, it’s going to be cool to rub elbows and cook next to Jason who is a friend and someone that I highly respect. His food is always great. And the champagnes we're pairing with are excellent. We're pretty excited about this dinner. It's going to be one to remember, " said Bautista.
