On Monday, April 30, we're excited to welcome Chef Mitch Lienhard to our California Modern kitchen for an evening of inventive food, drinks and fun.

Lienhard, formerly chef de cuisine at Michelin three-star restaurant Manresa, a Bocuse d’or Team USA Advisor and winner of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef World Title focuses on simple cuisine, showcasing ingredients for what they really are. He will join forces with our talented culinary team to create a special 9-course set menu with snacks. Guests will also have an opportunity to meet and mingle with the chefs. 

"We are very excited to welcome Chef Leinhard into our kitchen," said California modern chef de cuisine Jonathan Bautista. "I have followed his career since he was at Avenues with Michelin three-star chef Curtis Duffy in Chicago and his time at Alinea. He has worked in some of the best kitchens in the country. Exposing our cooks and guests to someone with Leinhard’s pedigree is going to be an phenomenal experience and collaboration for everyone involved. Mitch’s hyper-seasonal cuisine that he has displayed at Manresa is a perfect complement to our simple approach of letting the ingredients speak for themselves."
