Foreign & Domestic Dinner & Discussion with Trey Foshee

Chef Trey Foshee recently traveled to Austin, Texas, to take part in Foreign & Domestic’s popular Indie Chefs Table series, a monthly event where a nationally recognized chef is invited to collaborate in the kitchen with F&D owner, Chef Ned Elliott. The one night only event features an interactive dialogue and 7-course meal, with three of the courses from the visiting chef and the other four created in collaboration with Chef Elliott and his team.

"Chef Elliot has worked over the years with cooks that have worked with me in the past. We became friends on social media and this was the first time we met in person," said Chef Trey. "It's great to see someone operating a very personal restaurant. We had a lot of fun cooking and putting a Mexican inspired meal together which we thought would be fun since both our cities are known for Mexican food."

The event was a fantastic night of food discussion and exciting dishes. Take a look at some pictures from the evening below and check out other recent events Chef Trey and his team have been participating in outside of the George's kitchen.
