Recipe: Two-Ingredient Chocolate Mousse

Put a mixing bowl in the fridge to get cold. Once ready, whip the cream using a stand mixer or hand-held whisk, until it holds a ribbon. This is the stage right before it starts to form soft peaks. Set the cream aside.

Melt the chocolate then transfer the melted chocolate into a bowl large enough to fit the cream while allowing space for folding. Add half of the cream to the chocolate and fold as fast as you can, incorporating all of the chocolate as you do. Add the remaining cream and continue folding it in. Transfer the mousse directly into desired serving bowls and refrigerate or serve promptly. Garnish as desired.

  • 1 pound chocolate (your preferred brand)
